One of our annual pack events is the Fella's Cake Bake. Themes cakes are made and auctioned off in a live auction at our pack meeting. What makes it so unique is the method in which all these cakes are made...cubs and their dad's (or adult partner) are the ones who come up with these creations.
This year was as exciting as ever. The average cake sold for about $25/$30, raising a total of $1,120 to help with pack outings and events. Each boy came up and presented his cake while the bidding began. Our cub master was kept quite busy while paddles were flying left and right. There were army men cakes, an Easter Bunny, a Nintendo DS cake, hot wheels, Harry Potter, and Peet's Coffee Cup cake, to name a few.
