MH Marathon

For the third year in a row, our Pack manned an aid station at the Morgan Hill Marathon & 1/2 marathon. The boys, their parents, and a younger Girl Scout sister handed out water and Gatorade, and cheered on over 2,000 runners this year. It's always so much fun being out in the community, helping and giving back!

Morgan Hill Independence Day Parade 2012

Pack 766 was well represented at this year's annual Morgan Hill Independence Day Parade.  The boys decked out their scooters and helmets with this year's theme, "Happy Birthday, America!" The boys took turns carrying the banner while leaders distributed flyers and goodies to parade watchers!  A few of our boys even made the front page of the Morgan Hill Times.

new bobcats...

A huge congratulations to all our boys who earned their Bobcat badge at Monday Night's Pack meeting! It was great seeing all their excited faces going through the ceremony!

Fall Campout...

This year's Fall Family Campout couldn't have come at a better time! The kids were finally adjusted to being back in school, and the weather held out for us! Our annual trek to Mt. Madonna County Park is always highly anticipated by all our young boys and their families. This year was no exception.

We had cool activities, a fantastic hike, a fun campfire filled with skits, songs, and s'mores, and a ranger-led interpretive talk in a quaint outdoor amphitheater in which the kids got to see and touch animal furs from the local wildlife and learn about the plants around us.

The best part was getting to know our Pack families a little better, and spending time as a family in the great outdoors.

Pack 766 Recruitment...

This year's Fall recruitment meeting was a huge success (and can you believe our recruitment drive is still going?)! We had over 20 new families attend, along with our existing scouts. We are excited about the new families that will be joining our pack, and the enthusiasm level reached the ceiling! Thanks to the parent volunteers who helped keep the boys entertained with stomp rockets, Frisbee golf, the yummy Kettle Corn mirowave popcorn that was being sampled (that is one of the products the boys will be selling during our Fall fundraiser), and the extra yummy ice cream sundaes! It looked like everyone had a great time meeting new people and seeing old friends.
